Lets see them engines!

Here are a couple of my 97 TJ. Only aftermarket part is the intake. It really improves acceleration, and 'she' can breath more freely.

4.0 Auto with 74,000 miles.

Is that a TB spacer I see? You could get kicked out of the club if certain Jeepers see that.

LOL Everyone! Do I wheel it? No. I just bought it a few weeks ago and do not know any place in CT to wheel it....yet. As for a "TB spacer"....what is that?!

I suppose my "TB" spacer is working, as when I accelerate, I hear a 'whistle' coming from the intake.....

It's a dig for the hardcore enthusiasts who get their undies twisted anytime aftermarket performance and Jeep is mentioned in the same post.

That sound is the helical air current facilitated by the raised spiral cut into the spacer. Said to ad force and sometimes staighten air coming into the manifold. Beyond that I'm not commenting.

Yeah, I am not a big fan of aftermarket parts. I liked the Jeep, and it had what I was looking for (auto, 4.0, white, etc). It's obvious the original owner put more bling than mud on it.

I have owned show cars in the past, and now pour my $$ into my Harley (until I bought the Jeep). I have learned more on this thread in two weeks than I could learn reading books on Jeeps!

The TB spacer that comes with the bruteforce is a smooth 62mm, pretty sure the whistle is heard from is from the CAI itself or its filter. Have a bruteforce and aftermarket 63mm TB myself, Whistled b4 i put the spacer and overbored TB on.
