Lift and Tires?

I have recently purchased a 2000 Jeep Wrangler 5spd 4.0L with 3.73 axle ratios. I am looking to put a small lift on it with the addition of 31-32 inch tires. Would the new tires and lift drastically change the gas mileage(I get 15-16mpg with 30 inch tires now)? Thanks in advance.

Lift does not decrease your MPG, its your tires. It would depend on what kind of tires you have right now, if youre only getting an inch or 2 bigger tires, youll probably lose a little mpg but not as much as going from 27" to 33" with 3.07 gearing like I had

Like terrible said, you wont lose that much millage. Also consider how wide the tire is going to be, that also makes a difference.
