lift kit

Not sure whether to do a 2.5" or the 4". Any recommendation? I have access to rough country if anyone else is looking also. We could do a small group buy if anyone is interested.

I would personally go with a 4"; however, be warned, there are a bunch of issues you may have to deal with like drive line angle, manual shifter issues, transfer case linkage miss-alignment, lower gas milage, wheel wobble, wheel alignmnet issues etc etc. If you can handle these and you get the right wheels and tires, the look of you Jeep will improve a great deal.

YES i do get a discount and will help pass it along to everyone else if your interesIted email me at draggindetails@yahoo.com.

As far as looks I could care less. Im more interested in ride comfort and good ability off road. Im not into extreme trail riding but do enjoy getting muddy and having a good time putting it thru its paces. I went to callalantee in mountain city, tn this past weekend and tweeked my lower control arm off so now im just going to upgrade the stock suspension and just not sure that i want 4".

I like the wheel travel and overall ability that this lift looks like it provides( Jeep TJ Suspension Lift ) but at the same time the limitations of tire size worry me.

From what i have learned in the little ammount of time i have been on this forum. Rough country is exactly that "ROUGH" so i dont think they offer a comfort package.
Maybe in their new line up next season....

If you are looking at ride quality, you should look somewhere other than Rough Country for it. The best riding kit would be the Old Man Emu kit, or a long arm kit with the OME shocks.
