lift kit linkage question

Ok so my son and I just finished a 1 1/4 body lift on my 03 Wrangler. Installed a motor lift as well and now my 4wD shifter lever wont go in 2H. We know its a linkage adjustment but....how? Can some one call me if they can walk me through it? 731-733-1891

The adjustment is relatively simple and straight forward and only requires a 1/2" wrench to loosen/tighten the bolt that holds it in adjustment.

With a helper on top working the shifter, get undernath and watch the shifter to figure out how it works and it what way it needs to be adjusted. Loosen the bolt circled below in red that holds the shift rod in adjustment, make the adjustment, then retighten the snot out of that bolt so it can't slip in the future.

Got it....another more minor question. The stick shift is tough to get in 2nd & reverse....it goes but ya just about got to pull hard on it and it pops out easily. Think it may be the center console not allowing sufficient travel...suggestions?

The shifter boot can restrict the shifter's throw when the transmission has been dropped with a t-case drop or if a body lift has been installed.

Moving the console slightly is the usual fix. It is only held on with a bolt or two and some sheet metal screws so it is easily moved.

Was thinking of cutting it, but moving it is a much better option. Thanks!
