Question LIFT KIT QUESTION... any tips?

I have in my jeep only a 2" shock and spring spacer lift... some very agressive TSL super swamper tires that rumble horribly when going down the road which I am sure are no longer "well balanced" due to rocks and such...

Anyway, my question is... when I am going down the road about 50 mph within the first 10 minutes of driving after being parked all night I hit a bump and the jeep "bounces and shakes" UNTIL I apply the brake. Almost to the point of losing control... It feels like it is in the front right side. Now even though the lift is relatively new, I would assume it has something to do with that being it never happened before with the factory stuff. I have heard of similar problems in much larger lifts... any ideas on what it might be? Perhaps an easy fix? BETTER YET... is this normal and something I will just have to learn to live with?? thanx for looking...

the tires out of balance would cause problems like that however i've never heard of them going away when one steps on the brakes. I would check the basic junk. Check to see if your track bar is tight and then check to see if the shocks are tight since you messed with those. i had similar problem when i took a test drive with my shocks removed.

To me it seems like you got a bad shock. Flip it on the other end and see if it happens there. You can also install the stock front shocks just for the experiment (they will work up to 2" of lift)

It must be... its almost as if it doesn't push back down until I use it for a while. seems good on the trails and I know it hasn't gotten a good beating yet. I am getting some less agressive tires mounted so while its lifted I'll take a look. like I said, this only happens within the first 10 or 15 minutes of driving... not any other time. I can't figure it out. It sounds like a bad shock to me as well, but I don't want it to be being as I purchased them over the winter. lol. thanks for your input. It is much appreciated. LEIF
