Exclamation Lift Kit with stock rims... help!

I own a 2006 Wrangler X with stock rims of 15 inches. i want to put a suspension lift of 3 inches on but be able to keep my stock rim size. If I did this, what size tires would be big enough but not too big for the stock rims? Help!

I honestly wouldn't go any wider than a 10.50 tire with the stock 15x7 rims. You can find them in 31x10.50x15 and possibly even a 32x10.50x15 however most of the 32's I've seen are in an 11.50 width.

The main problem is with the stock rims excessive backspacing. It's fine with the narrower tires, but when you branc out to the larger sizes you start rubbing on the frame in the rear and on the control arms in the front.

there is no problem running larger width tires on a 7 inch rim, but the rubbing will be your issue.

Not all stock rims are 7" wide. Canyons, gamblers and moabs are 8", but still present back spacing issues.

My specs: 3.5" RE superflex lift kit, Interco SS. TSL - 33" x 10.5" on stock 15" x 8" rims.. No rubbing problems. The rear is also 3.73 ratio which is fine (not ideal) for the hilly terrain where I live.

Me too!

Wait 32x11.5's though.

Do you have a body lift or just the suspension? I was talking to Dirk at DPG about fitting 35's under my junk with the OME kit and a 1.25bl. I think I might and if it doesn't fit I'll just add a 1" puck.
