lift kits ?

what should i go with a rough country 6" x-series lift or a superlift easyride 6" lift? or if u have any other prefrence i would like to hear them

If you want 6'' of 'suspension' lift....Long Arm.

5.5" Rock Krawler X-Factor Long arm...

but you might want to look into new axles before the kit. The D35 behind your 4cyl won't last above 33" tires.

im getting a set off d44 front and 60 rear and i also have an i-6 getting rebuilt
and and a atlas 2 t-case all waiting to be put in.

yea im takeing the gloves off on this one. if im going to build a jeep i want to build a jeep. and sugestions and outputs are welcome. im going to start this project this spring. i would like to rebuild it from the groung up.

i thought about that until Grntj was selling his 44 and 60 for 300 so im going to settle with that.

i was looking at snorkles what are your guys opinion on them. keep in mind it will get used alot

Snorkles are fine if you have a need for it.

If you do plan on fording water alot you'll need to water proof the rest also...underhood electronics and exstend all your vent lines for the axles/trans and so on up to a higher level also.

is it true that snorkels are also a good sorce of cool air intake.
and for the original question would teraflex or rubicon express be a good long arm lift

some say yes the snorkle works as a CAI but dont exspect any mpg or hp improvement from it.

and...Rubicon Express is a good lift.

If your thinking of running 37" tires... look into stretching it since your running 3/4 ton axles.... also, why not drop in a V8 while your at it. You can usually find a nice 5.3L out of a Chevy truck with tranny for ~$2000.... well, around here you can.

i thought about it and my buddy backhome gave me his 4.0l for my 2.5 other wise i would of gone with a 302 that my brother has lieing around but it might change between now and then so who knows. i'm looking at every possibility. plus i have about 6 months left in the army so eight months from now is when i start building. so i gotsome time yet topick your guys brains
