Lift limit?

I see some 4 inch lift kits saying you must use the SYI to go more than 2 inches. Do you have to, if you use the Transfer case drop? Heres what I'm looking at.

If I have to do the SYI and driveshaft, I'll drop back, and get the to 2 inch kit for now. Just can't see changeing it before I break it.

Its got the t-case drop in there. You dont have to have it if you got a drop on it but in the long run your gonna want it. I ahve a 4" kit now with a drop but Im gonna get a belly up skid and SYE/TW driveshaft soon. You will be ok though bottom line.

I just picked up a 3" kit from www.bds-suspension.com
No need for the sye or cv driveshaft. Im prolly gonna do a 1" body so i'll end up with 4" of lift.

Thanks for the info. I'll do the 4 inch with dropping the transfer for now. I'll wait till I break the other stuff, then change up.

also to avoid getting a SYE/CV you can get a 1'BL to accomadate a 1"MML which helps the driveline angle without losing clrearance
