Lift needed for 2004 Jeep Wrangler with 33x12.5

I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler with 33x12.5 and wanted to know what size and type of lift is needed for general trail riding?

4 inch and a 1 inch body will give you plenty of room for suspension travel

but a total of 4 inches of lift you should be alright

just to be safe better tell the wife you need a 5.5 HD tri link long arm kit, SYE, and Drive shaft. Then tell her with that kind of suspension you could get hurt so you need to weld in a roll cage. Then the seats you have wont work any more because of the cage so you need some PRP,s which are no good with out 5 pt harnesses. Then you may get stuck in that bad mama jama and could get robbed while going for help so you have to have a wench im sure you get the picture.

For 33's your looking at either a nice 4" suspension set up or a 2" Budget Boost and a 1" Body Lift. The first is going to be better but will cost a couple grand whereas the second will work and only set you back a few hundred.

Thanks for the inputs all and I think I will take the budget approach at this time.
