Lift on 30s???

I just bought a 1998 wrangler sport. I am wanting to put on a nice 3 to 4" lift but when I bought the Jeep it came with brand new 30 x 9.5 tires, and I think the 3-4" will be too much with those tires. I have looked at a 2" skyjacker spacer lift with new shocks. My question is will that inexpensive lift be worth the money? Will it look alright with 30" tires? Anyone have knowledge in the field? Thanks.

yes the 2" puck lifts are alright and will look fine with those tires. the 2" lift will also ride just like stock.

Have a 2" puck lift on my jeep with no problems. Didn't have to change the shocks but had to put heavy duty steering stabilizer on because of DW.

you could always sell the new tires and put that money toward the purchase of bigger tires.

I did that, My jeep had new tires and brakes with less then 500 miles on them. They were to small=29" I sold them and bought my 31's". Im happy now, and the wife likes it alot-says the jeep rides softer now.
