lift question

do i need longer shocks if i just do a 2 in coil spacer

You don't NEED... well you do. but alot of people don't and its ok. But I would do it.

Yes. You can run with factory, but it will limit your suspension travel. Longer shocks are recommended.

Its also possible that he will damage the shocks by bottoming them out if the correct bumpstops are not in place/the sway bar is disconnected will make this worse.

plain and simple, yes you need longer shocks for a 2" coil spacer lift. You also need bumpstop extensions equal to the coil spacer height (2" in this case).

its not going to be offroaded its just for looks im just doing it for a friend of mine
my jeep is a 2000 tj with 4 inch rough country lift with custom radius long arm fronts dana 30 with aussie and 4.56 gears sye tom woods drive shaft trail gear sliders 8.8 4.56 gears lockrite custom cage ive just never messed with coil spacers
