lift question

i'm pretty sure i decided on a lift but am a little confused heres the link to the kit first off

http://www.dpgoffroad.com/TJ_LJ_OME_Kits.htm

i'm thinking of the deluxe kit but it doesn't come with the t-case drop and the first kit does. the deluxe comes with motor mount spacers instead. does this kit just move the motor instead of the t-case ?

the motor comes 1" up. that changes the driveshaft angle.
depending on your TJ (engine, tranny) you´ll need a TC drop.

Yes the motor mount lift takes the place of the transfercase drop. Instead of dropping the transfercase and loosing ground clearance, its nicer to lift the motor up an 1" for proper driveline angles.

You do no need a t-case drop when using a motor mount lift.

same here nick.. but im running 2'' procomp coils and then acos..

yesterday after offroading in the badlands all day i lost 3rd and 4th gear.. my jeep sticks in 2nd.. and i think it has to do with the linkage..

my jeep must have settled because for the trip up there it was just fine..

tomorrow im gonna take out 3 of the 4 washers that i got as my tc drop.. hopefully thatll fix my linkage.. if not ill add the linkage bracket sent to me with the bl.. only reason i didnt put it in is because it said with the mml you didnt need it..

but then again my rear acos arent in yet and my front as sitting at only 1.25'' of lift for now.. so im sure ill need to do a sye for xmas
