Lift question

Hey fellas,
I know this is probably an old subject but I was having hell trying to find any old threads on this particular question. I Have a 02 Wrangler x 4.0 Manual with a 3" body lift(I know--this was on there when I bought it) and 33" A/T Nitto's. My question is what kind of mods am I going to need to do to add a 2" BB to what I already have? Do you guys recommend this lift combo? I was just trying to see what I'm getting myself into before purchasing anything. Thanks in advance.

If I were you I would get the 1" BL and 2" BB kit. its not that big of a deal to do. the BB is just 4 pucks that go on top of your springs. I would think that the 3" BL and 2"BB would make it a little off balance... oh and if you do the BB I would think about getting longer shocks to go with it for better performance.

you can add a 2" BB to your setup now...but hopefully you wouldn't have to run a tcase drop.

Get rid of the 3" body lift!!!! Go with a 2" budget boost and an inch of body lift.

What type of 2" BB would you jeep vets recommend? And what would a T-case drop intale if I did decide to keep the BL on? I could probably figure it out but if you guys recommend this getting done by a pro then I'll take it to a mech shop. Thanks for the replies OH WISE ONES!!!

I don't know about the BB but the T-case drop takes all of 10 min. 3/4" socket and a jack. oh and a 10mm for the linkage.

Sounds like it should be a pretty easy install then.. should I waste the time removing the 3"BL to install a 1" BL and 2"BB, or would just add the 2"BB ontop of what I already have? Thanks.

dropping the tcase with a 3" BL would just make it even harder to get into 4wd. do they make a bracket for a 3" BL AND a tcase drop? that would be one huge bracket.

i sure as heck wouldn't leave a 3" BL. they bring the UGLY.
