Lift question

Anyone running this one by rough country? http://www.extremeterrain.com/rough-...t-tj-906s.html

I have a 98 TJ that I am gonna sell in two years so don't want to put a 3,000 dollar lift on it. But want something where I can still take it off road and gives it a little better look.

Also looking at procomp and teraflex ones also

If you're just looking to clear larger tires you can go with a Body Lift or a Coil Spacer Lift and be all set. Or combine the two styles to net out 4 inches of lift. If you're looking for the added flex and offroadability of a spring lift, there isn't a lot in the price range of the RC kit. A lot of people will tell you that their bushings are no good and will wear quickly.

Let me know if you have any questions I can answer or if you'd like a quote!

I'm running the RC 4" lift PO had it installed.

I hear a lot of crap about RC stuff but I don't have any complaints.

Who ever installed it did a great job.

So how's the ride both on and off road. That's the one I'm looking at right now. Hopefully someone on this Island has it tho. Checked shipping on the zone site and it was 422 to ship here

so don't put any lift on it. leave it alone. you'll just be wasting money. to anyone that has working knowledge a stock jeep is worth more used than a poorly setup/lifted jeep.

Thanks for mentioning this. There's so much info thrown around about obtaining a good 4" lift kit and this one is only $500ish

From research I thought that it was going to be like 1300-1700 for everything needed to go for 35" tires

It will cost more than that to run 35's without sacrificing safety and parts.

Wow, thanks for the follow up. There's so much fragmented information that it would be nice to be able to see someone's setup and copy them entirely if they have it figured out/balanced

Damn, just to ship it?
It rides really good on and offroad. I have been trail riding with it a couple of times since the install and really liked it. A little stiff with my stock tires I have on right now for the winter, but rides great with the Bfg A/T during the nice weather.
