Lift questions

So i finally decided on how i want to lift my jeep. I want to go with a 2" or 2.5" OME suspension with a 1" body lift. I have never liked body lifts and I hate seeing these guys running a 6 inch body lift with no susp. lift. However, when combined with the sl, i feel a lot better about it. Does anyone run this setup? Any complaints? How large of a tire can I run reasonably? Thanks!

I ran an OME kit for years with 31" tires, then added a 1.25 JKS BL and was able to run 33,s.YOU wont have a ton of clearance, but it will work.My OME lift only netted 2" actually. For me,going thru the trouble of a complete suspension lift,Id go larger.I liked the OME ride ,just was never happy with the height.

I know they make at least 3" BLs. Im not recommending them, but they make em. Thats really beside the point though.

I have the OME 2.5" + 1.25" JKS BL with 33s. I think it looks just about right. Front OME coils are actually designed for a ZJ and rear are the HD TJ coils. My warn flares might add a small bit of clearance over stock as well.
I need to take it out and get some decent pics one of these days, but for the time being this should give you an idea of what you can expect.

That lift works great. The Coil hieght is going to depend on the coil/type you get.

If you don't have Heavy bumpers, hardtop, winch, etc...the OME kit will probably be more than 2.5" if you get the HD springs, keep that in mind to.
