Lift size help

I have a 04 rubicon, I want to lift it some... My problem is this.. I had an 08 and lifted it 4.5 in with 35 mickys. My wife had a hard time getting in and would not join me on trail rides.
I want my wife with me... (I could hear your thoughts)
Anyway I want to lift my 04 but don't want to make it to hard for her... or kill the road side of the drive.
I am planning on attending the 4 wheel parts truck and jeep show this weekend in Orlando and would kind of have an idea of what I want before attending...
Any suggestions of lift, tire size and or step that you people can assist me with would be great.. I would love to see pictures of some different lifts with an explanation of type lift, size and tire and rim sizes
Thanks for your time.. Z

Put rockers with a step on it. Protection and function at the same time. 3.5" lift and 33's will perform very well and make it a bit easier to access as well.

I'll agree with inferno. My jeep has a 4" lift with 33s. I then added some cheap nerf bars from eBay for 100 bucks. I believe this is the perfect all around set up. Here's a photo.

I will agree if you want her to be able to get in easily this would be a good suggestion as posted above.
