Lift upgrade

I think the most I would ever wanna put for tires on my jeep anytime soon would be 33's. I found a good deal on some 31's right now.. they are better than my stock 215's small stupid tires...lol... Question on a Budget lift.. I am wondering if I just go 2" will i have to change any driveline stuff? or anything.. would i need new sway bar links? shocks? Should i just find a nice kit with the lift bushings and new shocks? I can always lower the skid plate a little like i have seen others do with washers... any input needed.. thanks.. mostly going for a better looking jeep rather than anything.. I will play off road from time to time.. nothing crazy though...

new shocks would be nice but are not necessary, they would make the ride better, they would be necessary if you go on the rocks disconnected and really fles, but you can buy them and add them anytime, besides that you shouldn't need anything, maybe sway bar disconnects but you can make those yourself pretty easily

i'd rather not buy the 31s and get the 33s sooner but thats just me.

I drove on my 30s with 6" of lift for almost half a year before i got my 35s.. i did get teased from the forum here but honestly i dont care.

thanks.. the wheels i found of the gambler wheels.. which look nice.. It will be a few years before i can upgrade to 33's at least.. very broke at the moment...lol... stupid jobs in michigan... so if i can get 5 wheels and tires for $180 that will get me by for a year or two.. that are 31's.. I think it would be a good step to go.. with the 15x8 wheels i can upgrade tires and not wheels later....

Will get these then start saving the $200 for a 2" lift... then down the road maybe a 1" body.. that should be perfect for if i can ever get 33's

just a heads up for you... if the "gambler wheels'' are the factory ones. they have 5 1/4'' backspacing. so if you plan on running anthing wider than a 10.50 you will need spacers or new wheels.

good luck with what you deside to do.
