Lifted and re-geared.... speedo is WAY OFF

I went from 3.07's and 31's (speedo was off ) to 4.56's and 33's. WOW!!! What a difference gearing makes... I forgot how big of an improvement it is!

Speedo reads 60MPH and actually doing 42MPH.... lol!!! (Check with GPS) So I look up the charts to find which gear I need, 39 tooth... cool....

so I start looking locally....

I can't believe the price variance I am finding locally on the speedo gears... HOLY CRAP!!!

One place quoted me $89!!! Another.... 3 blocks away... $21

Q-tec and Morris4x4 are $39

WHAT GIVES!?!?!

Lol who needs a speedo. Mines off by 15 at 65. Shows 50. My mind automatically calculates the correct speed now I'm actually waiting to regear someday to do the speedo swap.

Yeah that's reasonable. I don't have a good local shop that I can get something like that from.
