Black and silver/aluminum rims are not too bad especially if the black is glossy. These are the best looking "black" rims I've seen.

Well, mine is a light khaki, and whoever had it before put black rims on it and some other black pieces, and my girlfriend and I liked it enough to drive 5 and a half hours to buy it! Pics of it should show up in my profile and avatar.

I've got the 04 Khaki as well and couldn't decide either. Went with both.

yup... I agree... Silver. Black is .... blaaahhhhh..... if you really wanted you caould maybe look into like a dark grey there are as many shades between black and silver as you can imagine. But between the 2 absolute choices - Silver.

Mt classic locks are looking like winners to me. Anyone else rocking them on their jeep or anything similar?

Great timing as I'm making this decision right now. Favourite so far is 16x8 MT Classic II's (silver). Currently on factory Ecco wheels.

Very similar to mine! I have black interior though and a light bar. Do you intend to lift your jeep? What tyre size are you going for?

I suppose whatever you do and what ever happens you still have a jeep which makes you an instant legend.

That's what I tell myself lol!

I'm fitting 2" Rubicon Express budget lift with shocks, and 265/75 R16 Cooper ST Maxx tyres. Unless I change my mind again!!

I'll regear the axles to 3.73 in the new year when the bank balance recovers from Christmas!

There is just too many options, choices and paths you can take! I want it to look kind of stock but a more beefy. So far mine has only had things taken off, nothing put back apart from a fuel cap and some layers of wax!

I'm in the UK and the choices are a bit more limited and a lot more expensive here. It's Land Rover territory lol! I don't want to have to start going into SYE & driveshafts because it gets way too expensive, and I want the thing to remain practical as well. 2" lift ad 32" tyres will be enough for me.

What you have in this picture looks good. Leave it and spend the money on some other upgrades like bigger tires!

Tyres are an issue because of the ban on HA oils. It means a lot of the tyre sizes aren't available or are really expensive. I'm switching to 16" wheels because its more popular on Land Rovers etc. I've bought a couple of things from the US and had them shipped and even after the shipping and taxes its quite often cheaper!

IMO black wheels only look good when your jeep is black on black on black. But like I said just my opinion. Heres mine:

Thinking about bedlining the fender flares on my khaki LJ. Not that excited about the stock "grayish' color in combination with the brown soft top. I would love to see some more examples of khaki jeeps with black flares. Post those pics!
Thanks!

I really like the black. I just think it is a more aggressive look. When I bought my Jeep they were chrome but all scratched up. I bedlined them and now just spray them if they ever get scratched. Heres a pic
