Lighting Project

Good Day Everyone,

I have finally decided to start my lighting project. It isn't going to be much right now. I was planning on putting a set of Hella Fog Lights on the front bumer so that's good to go.

I have also installed windshield mounts for another set of Hella Lights. Now my question is, how would one get the necessary wiring under and through the hood to make the necessary connections? I wanted to ask any of you for suggestions that may have done this before.

Thanks,

Vin

Raise your hood. At the top of the firewall will be 5 screws that will loosen the back section with the vent and wipers. Remove the screws and you can raise this part and place the harness between it and the fenders. Put back down and replace screws.Run the harness down the rubber seal by where the hood sets. I then slit one of the rubber plugs in the firewall to feed the harness into the drivers compartment. I sealed off the cut with rubber sealer. then its just a matter of finding a place for the light switch inside and hooking up the power.

Also remember to use wiring loom, oh and rubber grommets if you do through a sheet metal hole. The wiring loom is at most auto parts stores, both solid and split.
