Lights flickering

We built a bumper for my 99 tj and put some cool lights on it about maybe a month and half ago. Last night on my commute home from school, the lights began to shut off -- not just the new fog lights, but also the headlights. The shutting off had no pattern and would occur often enough that I felt it was a little dangerous to be driving. The fog lights are wired into the headlights so they turn on when you turn on the headlights. Does anyone have any theories as to why this occurring? Has this happened to anyone else?

Go back over every inch of your wiring.
