So the previous owner put in a body lift and suspension lift.. witch is fine except the butt end of my tj dosent look very good because you can see the ugly gas tank, the gas tank straps and also the 3 inch body mounts.. Any ideas?

Take that nasty body lift off and replace it with a 1 inch body lift.

Get rid of the body lift. It looks horrible and does more harm than good.

definitely get rid of that much body lift. if you need it, drop to 1" or 1.25" body lift and 2" bb. it doesn't look like you have any suspension lift.

Not even sure why it has such a lift. I have 31s and zero lift. You can Fab up your own rear bumper if it bothers you. Create a rollpan look, there are many things you can do. Don't let the newb thing fool you, I have owned jeeps since I could drive.
Do you weld? Or do you know someone who does? If not, make some friends, LOL.

Get rid of that 3" BL and put a 1.25" on. And I got a new bumper for $150

What do you like? If you can weld tubing, you can make a nice rear bumper. Tell me what look you are going for and I might be able to whip up a sketch for you.

As to what should you weld, that is relative to your capabilities. You can shave the gas tank. (you better be careful). You can build a two or three tube bumper. You can build a roll pan. You can drop the jeep back down where it should be. LOL, does that give you any ideas. Also, if you opt for the bumper rebuild, make it fuctional, I like things that serve more than one purpose.
