line-x bumpers

anyone ever tried to line-x the factory bumpers? i have taken all four plastic ends off and was wondering if it would bond. always looking for something different than everyone elses around here and figures i might give it a try. i might try anyway and if it messes it up i will have an excuse to get those warns i have been wanting!!!
