anyone have the link to the thread with those doorless mirrors that was basically just a circle, and it was just an ad i'm sure that was a great description haha thanks though.

and anyone know if they are legal in nj.

i think this is the thread that you are talking about. i'm not sure if they're legal here. i would call your local police station or call the staties and find out for sure. a $10 set of mirrors could cost you big $$$ in tickets. cops around me love to stick it to you with tickets.

If my memory serves me well, I believe NJ requires driver's and passenger side mirrors (both are mandatory). I have not seen any DOT or ANSI stampings on any mirror so there's no real specification (e.g. tail lights have DOT markings for compliance.)

Hopefully, you get a nice guy on the inspection station line. Ask to speak to the supervisor if he fails you. They are generally supportive if you are cool with them.

You can re-use your factory mirrors if you buy the relocation brackets. They are like $40 and you will have a much larger mirror.... Larger mirror = safer driving.

or you could add you windshield lights and relocate your mirrors at the same time with these
