Locker Pumps

Does anyone know for certain if the locker pumps on a Rubicon are water proof or water resistant? Also, I am thinking of relocating the pumps to the firewall area, anyone done this yet?

Never had any problems with the pumps. If it ain't broke, don't jack with it. People got to much spare time on their hands.

I would expect them to be fairly waterproof - considering Jeep put them on the undercarriage where things get wet very often.

Taking a look over on the RubiconOwnersForum is going to be the absolute best place for home made mods for the Rubicon. I do believe I have heard of guys relocating them though.
