Lockers & gear thoughts

ok here's the deal. I'm going to be doing some side gigs that'll give me some extra cash for my jalopy. I'm currently running with a dana 30/44 combo and it's time to get lockers. for now I'll only get a locker for the rear and regear to 4:56 or 4:88. now here's where I need your guys feedback. with the idea of going to a 35" tire, and use as a dd, should I upgrade the axles as well? Also would the d30 hold up with a locker and a 35" tire?

What he said ^^^^^.

As far as a locker, I would suggest the detroit soft locker. It has a little more tame characteristics on the street.

For a daily driver on 35's, go with an ARB in the back vs the detroit. It will make your communte so much nicer. The detroit is fine but it will let you know its there, and in some cases when changing lanes at 55mph will really let you know its there.

With your sig being Surf & Snow, my question is whether or not you drive regularly on road in snow during the winter months? Because for me that would make a huge difference in the locker I put in.
