i kinda narrowed it down to lod and thedirtworx for a tire carrier bumper combo. thedirtworx has my vote just because you can have it custom made to what fits your needs best.

The lod stuff is nice but they must only have like one fabricator on the payroll. Every time i call everything is on back order. 2 months to get some rock sliders. F that!

The LOD is a nice piece. It comes bare metal, you will have to paint it.

the jeep I just got has the Warn setup on it. Not sure what it cost but its a pretty nice piece. Just wished it had some sort of setup to attach a jack to it. I found some pics of someone else setup and will be doing it.

Just installed both front and back bumpers from the dirtworx. He does nice work, just took him 6 weeks to do it.

LOL 6 weeks, I was upset that it would take 7-10 days to get my nerf bars. I have waited 6 months for a riflestock from McM before though so I guess 6 weeks isnt that bad.

i have the bumper... everybody is right, it does take forever to get it after you order it. i waited 2 months for mine. i am very happy with it though. a post above said that it comes bare metal, but that is wrong, it is powdercoated.

I have this one 1996-2006 Jeep TJ/LJ Xpedition Series Bumper/Tire Carrier*::*Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier*::*1996-2006 Jeep TJ/LJ Products*::*Jeep*::*LoD Offroad and love it. Yes, it did take two months, but its nice. The only thing I dont like is that it doesn't have a stop, so it just swings all the way till the tire hits the side of the tub.

I say go for it. LOD for the win.

I purchased the xtreme version a while back and it has held up great. I even towed a few trailers with it. If i had to do it over again i would beef up the crossmember it attatches too. it has nothing to do with LOD its just what i would do before installing the HD bumper.

here my modded version of the LOD xtreme
