Currently have an XJ cherokee, but looking to get a TJ.

This is what I am looking for. I have around a 10-11k budget. I'm located in Idaho, so I dont want to travel to the east coast for one lol

-4.0
-5spd
-Must have full doors
-black or grey interior
-color isnt a huge concern (though my least desired colors are black and yellow)
-100k miles or less (preferably 75k or less)
-stock as possible. most I would want is lift and tires

eBay, you can find jeeps all over the country. Compare prices. You have a buyers guarantee. I bought mine off eBay from Mississippi had it shipped here to Colorado. It cost me about four $4000-$6000 less than I would've if I would've bought the same jeep in Colorado Springs. There are a lot of jeeps in the west however special in Colorado they ask a premium for them.

Wasnt a big fan if saddle interior but pulled carpet and bedlined tub, painted center console with krylon flat black and have seat covers so you can see the seat.

Southern Arizona, where I live. The desert area's of California. Southern Texas and Southern Nevada.

I would also suggest that you get a carfax report and make sure that the Wrangler originated in one of these area's.

Good Luck on your search...:thumb:

Out here in Southwest. Southern Utah, AZ, Nevada, SoCal. Very dry environment that doesn't promote rust. Look on all the Craigslists. MY friend got a 98 TJ 4.0 , stock dana 44 rear with 33" tires, 3" lift, manual, 110k, bone dry underside, no rust for $5500. I got my 97 4.0, manual with 150k, new 35" goodyear mt/r's, lockers front and rear for $6k. In Phoenix there's plenty with clean titles. I'll go look for you if they're in Phoenix. I've been wrenching my whole life. I'm pretty good at knowing what to look out for.
