looking for ideas.

I want to mount an axe and shovel from my roll bars. I'm kinda handy with fabing but have to do it all by hand. I am fine with going off the body too. I need cheap kinda easy and the mounts can't interfere with my hard top in the winter.
Open to any thoughts done or not and any pics would be great.

A buddy mounted his under the hood....thought it was a great way to store them so they aren't in the way until needed.

Here is my Hi-Lift mount idea, trying to come up with some quick release straps to mount the shovel somewhere. They are muffler clamps with threaded knobs (10M I believe can't remember)

I like the idea. I did finally mount the axe and shovel. I will take pics and post them soon.
