Looking for info on two lift kits

I am weighing my options in regard to either the OME 2 1/2" kit, or the Zone 3" lift. I am looking for a ride close to stock as my wife has had back problems and a surgery in the past and I need it comfortable. Both kits review about the same for ride it seems. The Zone is enough cheaper that I can add an SYE and Driveshaft and only be about $100 plus of the OME kit. I am looking for positives and negatives for both of these kits, and other possible kit options that will also ride well. My jeep is a 99 TJ, 2.5, 5 speed - basically bone stock with about 80K on it. Currently has a hard top but soft is coming as well. I did pick up some bumpers so add 50 lbs each end on the stock weight. No winch planned at this time. Any input is welcome!

I'm really happy with my OME lift. I added a lot of other stuff. It rides better than stock, IMO...and several passenger's opinions. One of the benefits of OME is you can tailor the springs to your needs...they have about 4+ different springs for the front and rear, so you can choose heavy rate springs for carrying loads, hard top, winch, bumpers, etc; or lighter weight springs for a lighter weight vehicle.

I'd go OME.

I know that OME has a great rep - any personal experience with Zone that I should know about as well?

Close to anyone you ask about Zone will say they love it, same to OME. OME has the spring rates for any Jeep, as well as soft shocks that will ride better/smoother than stock. The Zone springs might be a little stiff for you, despite having the bumpers.

So you are saying that about $250 will silence the siren in the passenger seat?
