Looking for storage ideas

Looking for some storage ideas, I have 97 TJ and have to keep the back seat. It seems that we've always got to move stuff around and it's just a cluster. I want to keep tools, tow straps, etc.... I want something that's out of the way but it's always in the jeep. I have portable air tank behind the rear seat and that's about all that will fit there. I really don't want something outside the jeep like the rack above the spare tire, that would be fine for longer trips. I just want it to be inside and always there. Any ideas?

To make sure I understand-You need more storage space in your TJ but can not give up your backseat. and also don't want to mount/put anything outside of the Jeep?

Not much space left but something I considered is the Tuffy speaker boxes that go on top of the rear wheel wells. If you got those with no speakers-believe those are hinged and could get a lot of smaller things inside almost like a small tool box-leave out speaker/order it without speakers.

I considered this but wanted duster/halftop.

Have also seen "luggage" that strapped to rear roll bar-one for tools one for recovery/towing?

Yeah I know that makes for limited options, I'm just so limited on space as you all know. I like the speaker box idea. Thx

I have mounted two to the front stock bumper and keep my tow straps and tools in them.
