Talking Looking to get into this!

So I've been stuck with the dilemma, that I know nothing about lifts, and suspension upgrades. I'd like start taking the ole jeep out on a couple trails, but I don't think I can handle it with stock suspension. Any advice, opinions, and recommended upgrades from you guys would be very much appreciated. Note that I am running 31x10.5x15's. Im not really looking to upgrade the tires anytime soon either. Thanks!

I think you are going to find that your TJ is pretty trail capable in its current form. Take it out with another vehicle and see what it can do...then it will help tell you what it needs. I have seen stock TJ with a winch get to places that a TJ with 4"lift and 33" could not go as it did not have a winch. (both were open diffs).

Start slow and work your way into it. Your jeep as is will do way more then you ever would have thought.

It does not matter how good your rig is you need to be able to get out of whatever you get into. Before you go make sure you have all the gear that you need to get yourself out of what ever you get into.

Slowly progress and be safe.
