looking to purchase a 97-01. what problems should i look for?

Hi everyone at the title says I am looking to purchase a jeep from 1997 to 2001. I understand body rot and frame rot are some common issues. I am wondering where specifically on the vehicles are these issues. What else should I be looking for or be aware of? What should I be checking when taking it for a test drive?

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you.

Front and Rear Differential leakage. Typical fluid checks make sure there is nothing leaking on the ground

00 to 02 had head cracking problems. Diamler put tupy on the improved 0331 heads that went on late 01 and newer.

Starting in 2000 the ignition is coil pack instead of distributor. Distributor type is cheaper to replace... If the instrument cluster glitches and says NO BUS on the odometer its just a connection problem and easily fixed. My 2000 did that and I just ha to clean it.
