Loss of power while driving

I have a 2006 wrangler X, when driving I have a huge loss of power. I can mash the gas peddle and accelerate but then after a few seconds it just Boggs down into gear! Any suggestions? Would a high transmission fluid level cause this??

Smell rotten eggs shortly after? That would be clogged cat.

If not, sounds like failing fuel pump, or crimped line.
