As much as I like jeeps, I would keep the FJ and build the 97 into a better than Rubicon.
I just can't seem to warm up on the JK's.
I was tempted to trade my 06 TRD Tacoma for an 08 Rubi and I could not wait to get the JK back to the lot and get in my TRD.
It was a good thing tho, cause I found my 97 TJ a short time later, (3 weeks)

Thats if you can get over the MASSIVE blind spots.

First time I backed one out I almost had a heart attack. Its liking backing out a limo with no windows.

The FJ is our family car the TJ is the trail rig and my pos Accord is what I make my 80 mile round trip to work in. A back up camera ran into the 7.5 inch touchscreen DVD player takes care of the blind spot issue, at least in reverse. Mirrors do ok on the freeway, just gotta look over your shoulder is all.
