Low oil pressure and loss of power?

My friend has a 1997 TJ has about 12-15k on remain motor, Clutch was replaced at the same time motor was but in. Jeep has about 220K on it now. She was driving to visit a friend and she said that she was driving on the highway 65-70 and had loss of power and saw that the oil pressure was low.
I have read here that 10psi roughly per 1000rpms, true for 97?
She had it towed back home and Boyfriend drove it for about 45 mins with no problems.

I get intrigued on trying to help my friends out with problems like this and getting feed back from the Jeep world of those that help other jeepers.

So i ask for any input on this would be helpful. Thanks.

Well if the engine lost power and slowed down, the oil pressure would drop.

As to why it lost power, fuel pump maybe. Cat converter going bad.

God I miss that Jeep. Forgot the kinda Jeep, 80 SX4.

No CEL, She has had the cats replaced once before, but you would think if an issue there the CEL would come on.

I was thinking the same thing with the fuel pump, but more thinking about the fuel filter. I will have to see if i have any more info to give on this when i talk to her or her boyfriend tomorrow. Thanks guys
