low oil pressure at idle on 99 Jeep wrangler

Yesterday our 99 Wrangler all of a sudden started has no oil pressure at idle. I have changed sending unit and still didnt fix problem. Engine is running fine with no noises

There are numerous threads on this forum talking about how individuals purchased defective sending units at the local auto parts store and confused the troubleshooting process. Easiest thing to do is go to your dealer and buy an OEM sending unit. Most logical thing to do is find a mechanical pressure gauge and hook it right to the sending unit port to see what is really going on.
