Lowering and raising your soft top

This might sound like a dumb question but.. what is the best way to get your sort top to tuck perfectly in side your jeep. Just wondering.

a warm day really makes it pliable. When it's nice and stretchy I can usually get it to fold nicely and stuff into the trunk area

Do you roll the back window up before you fold top down? Or do you leave it down?

I take all three windows completely off the Jeep before lowering the top (and store them in the garage).

I don't roll my back window up, I just drop it back and I'm careful to get it folded into the back. I worry more about how I fold the plastic pieces that fold under my body and door jam than I do the back window.

Take the top AND doors off!!! If you haven't you don't know what ur missing...

If you fold the top down with dirty windows still zipped in place, those plastic windows will be toast within a few years. The vinyl used for the windows is very soft and the dirt will grind them to the point where they can start turning opaque. I would always remove the soft top windows before lowering the top.

read your owners manual. it will save your top and it will tuck in tighter than you've probably ever seen.

I roll up the rear window, and leave the sides at home. After that its really just a folding thing. like making your bed, just little tugs and tucks until it looks good.

^^She does not get the top tucked all the way into the tub.

But, she looks good. I guess that is all that matters!

I've yet to see a video on lowering a non-NX Supertop. I've finally gotten where I can get it folded up pretty neatly, though.
