I will be changing the front and rear axle fluids and will be using lube locker gaskets and they call for 35ft lbs of torque. I have been doing some searching and it seems some think this is too much that it should be 25-30 ft lbs,any thoughts.
I have the same axles as you and I installed them to the suggested 35ft-lbs and have not had an issue. Just make sure you gradually get to that torque by following the bolt pattern around a few times before fully tightening them to 35 ft-lbs.
i did the 15 first round, 35 second round and haven't leaked a drop for 2 or 3 months.
