Angry Lug Nuts question.

I just recieved my matte black wheels and the idiots at Goodyear decided to give me chrome lugs and locking lugs with them... I need help finding some 12x20 size lugs in black, not a gloss black. I need 20 regular lugs and 5 more locking ones also in black obv.. (4 for each wheel and one locking one for each) (yes, I have 5 tires obviously lol) Need some suggestions, having trouble finding them. Thanks

Honestly my Crafstman bolt remover set would make quick work of any wheel locks. I still lock my wheels and have wanted to know about black lug nuts.

What do y'all do for the center caps? Do you prime them and paint them black too?

I only have four factory locks left but I use a Master Lock spare tire lock for my spare. It fits around an open lug nut so you can still get away with that set of four black locking lug nuts.

My bolt extractor comment is still valid here, but it sure would take a few extra minutes to do the job with these.

How well do they hold up to impact tools? Have they withstood the test of time and still look good and rust-free?

I just found these on eBay:

I might pick up a set myself, they should fit nicely on my new 8.8.

These have only been on my jeep a few months. I have spline lug nuts on my F-150 also, and they are holding up pretty good. I don't use an impact on my lugs, but the key that goes with the lugs fit pretty snug. They are scratched a little, and have no rust.

Just remember, you need 23 if you plan on putting them on the spare also.

I've got some nice rims on mine as well...i dont worry about the wheels on the jeep, just the spare. So i just took my original locking lug and painted it to match for the spare...

And like he said above...get enough to do the spare as well. Thats why i got the 32 pc set

I thought about that too, but I would probably use three of my factory locking lug nuts or two and my current Master Lock spare wheel key. I'm no too concerned with the chrome showing on the rear. I will probably end up putting a [large] third brake light there or a bike/gerry can/cargo/cooler carrier of some sorts.
