MA Legal lift?

i live in Mass. and i'm interested in lifting my jeep and i was wondering what the appropriate lift and tire size would be for my 99 wrangler to make it all legal like

well how much off and on road driving do you do? and what axles do you have? and what gear ratio?

Legal lift depends on the state. Minnesota was, if i remember right, Maximum 28 inches to the middle of the bumper. Texas has no laws on that at this time but there are nasty rumors that they will impliment one soon.

Goto your DPS either on the web or call in person to get the answer. There is no federal laws on the books so the states regulate that.

4 inches over stock max in Mississippi. Used to be heavily enforced, but I haven't heard of it being enforced in several years.
