Magnaflow vs. Flowmaster

I'm getting a new exhaust for my 2003 jeep wrangler 6 cylinder. I'm taking the last cat off and putting 2 1/2in pipe in from there with a new muffler. I don't know if i should get the Magnaflow or Flowmaster. I want a more aggresive, deeper sound, not like ricer!

I have a 50 series Flowmaster with no tail pipe and it sounds DEEP and aggressive. Sounds like a v8 at idle. As a side note I gained about 1 mile per gallon and I got a noticeable increase in power that I wasn't expecting.
I always listen to the voices in my head because they have all the right answers.

I also have the Flowmaster 50 and really like it. Not too loud to attract too much of the wrong attention, but loud enough to have it sound nice. I received absolutely zero MPG or power increase with the muffler though with the inline 6.

Would you post up a sound clip of your 40? I am seriously considering one, but I'm torn between the 40 and 50... I've heard the 50 in person and I like it, but might want to be a tad more aggressive....

I was told the flowmaster will sound more ricey and the magnaflow will sound more aggresive. I'm gonna go with the magnaflow for now and see how it is.

I am going to take the cat before the muffler off, which I was told will be alright to do.

I got the magnaflow and it sounds awesome. I took my cat off also before the muffler and it caused no problems. Now my exhaust is all 2 1/2in pipe.

I'm happy with what I did, I'd recommend it!!!
