Making the switch

I have decided to go full synthetic on all my oils after doing a lot of research and checking all the numbers. Now, the question: as I have no real experience with synthetic oils, do I need to completely flush my systems before adding the fluids, or if I drive it around and give it time to warm up and then drain everything with plenty of time to evacuate the fluids, will the small amount of residue matter? If I need to flush, what is the recommended procedure and flushing fluid?

1999 XJ Four door, mostly stock for now, but I am in the process of building a custom plate bumper.

Im a Royal Purple user, on the diffs, i would crack the pumkins and clean them out. refill it with your synthetic of chouce.

On the the tranny, tcase and motor just do a oil change like regular.

Nothing special about doing it. and if you dont like your end results just go back to regular oils. no harm in going back.
