Yep...armor = rugged...and capable. Avoid showy stuff and go for things that will help you survive. You really need to protect the underside too, especially the oil pan with an engine skid.

Lift, tires, and a set of "Truck Nuts" dragging the ground behind it ought to make it look more manly...

Could any of you point me in the direction of a good BB and a place to get that armor stuff? Also... Where can I get me some plasti dip?

Will a BB require any work with gearing or anything?

Ohh enemy #1 always so quick to the point!

I meant if it was more applicable to wheeling... But now looking at it I guess that the light placement behind the bar would give them some protection I guess??

Blah, I feel like I'm coming off as ungrateful for the help... I'm super happy and thankful for all the suggestions and advice! I'm just trying to understand the purpose behind a lot of the mods/suggestions I see is all.

Losing the chrome is definately the most important part.

Remove and paint the headlight bezels: 15 minutes and $can-of-paint
Add a simple 2" BB and larger M/T tyres. If you don't have cash for both and you don't wheel it fit some larger tyres first. A lift with the stock tyres looks even more girly.

Keep the wheels, they actually look very good with some large tyres.

Some tires with some meat to them would go a long way. But it's pretty cute how it sits already....

Drop the milk jugs to start
lose the entire front bumper as soon as you can, that thing is shit. looks like shit n all.
Bigger tires
bit of a lift
I agree with your enemy (what a helpful enemy at that) plasti dip the chrome.
And if you really want the ladies to fall in love with it and see it as the most rugged/manly jeep there is, I'll let you take a picture of your jeep with me sitting inside it.
