That's what happens after you get a cool mod in a town with a healthy jeep population. They all want what you've got

Lol. The only reason I got the bumper was because it looks so damn cool. But I have one friend that has a jeep... And I told him he better not get the same bumper or I was gonna cut it to pieces(I was kidding but he thought I was serious). But you get my point... I think...

I picked up a black one with the spca logo on it for the back seat last week. Completely waterproof. Got it for $10 at Big Lots.
With the said of a long bungee it stays on all the time.

Manly? (involves a hammer!)

After 6 hours of reading this thread is struck me that I had a nearly instant way to "manly" up my recent purchase!
So I set out on what I was sure would be a "2 minute" procedure. Of course the hex screws are rusted/rotted all over theselves and just spinning like tops .. grrr I actually broke out into a sweat as I hammered the tar out of the little bugger. Manly points x2 for the sweat??
FYI... tougher than you think to smash off..
Nonetheless my TJ is one step closer to manly.. short break then I'll hammer off the other one.. LITERALLY..

I've had others tell me that they had a hard time getting those things off too. Just consider it your Jeep being stubborn to change and not knowing what is best for it. Kind of like a kid not wanting to eat their veggies. Tough love my friend. lol

Also....... this is one of the best tools in my arsenal. I highly recommend that everyone own one.

Sorry, AKC, not SPCA.....

Anyway, you can see it on the seat in this photo.

It has straps at the top and bottom so it can be connected to the frame of the seat and to something behind the seat to keep it from sliding off.
It also has two velcroed slits for the seat belts. I have it on upside down for some dumb reason. lol

I want to find seat covers for the front made out of the same stuff because I kid you not, you could spill a whole bottle of water on that thing and not a drop will soak through.

You said biglots? I ended up pulling out the backseat for him so he had more room but I may want to put it back in if I had that cover.

What if youre not worried about your upholstery but you just want to make your ride look better, and more waterproof so you can have your top down more often? I'll call that manly.

Then I say do it, nothing more manly than doing something you want to do to your Jeep, especially when someone else thinks you shouldnt.

Yeah, I've thought about putting a trolling motor on the back of my 4-wheeler. I beat that thing like it stole something.

Didn't get stuck. I'm 6' and was up to my earhole and my feet didn't hit bottom. The rear was trying to drive under the front and I didn't feel like drowning, so I slid off to get the back to float up. Kept it running so it wouldn't get water in it, ran my legs over a couple times trying to get back on Jet-Ski style, but it made it.
