If you're talking about the transmission used for the 4.0L engine back then, the AX-15 transmission's fill hole is half-way up on the driver's side.

I can't imagine that the ax-5's layout is too different then the ax-15's

K well my fuild was full. What do u guys think why it would be so hard to out into gear?

If it goes into and out of gear easily with the engine off, but it is very difficult to get it into gear with the engine running, you probably have a clutch problem.
