Marker opinions!

Hey I'm looking to change from the amber to either clear or smoked lenses. But I can't decide. What are your opinions?

On you current set up I would say go with the clear, but i would spray paint your headlight rings black and get the smoked to match!

Depends on if you are going to do anything else or not. As is, I'd go with clear because it will blend better. If you start blacking things out (light trim rings, Hella Black Magic's, etc.) then I'd consider the smoked ones.

Word of advice, before you get the smoked ones check your local/state laws. My BIL is local LEO and I asked him about it due to the wording of the state statutes (says amber or clear light "projected", not about color of lenses like back of vehicle). He said depending on the LEO it may or may not get pulled over.

I'm still going with smoked lenses. I went back and forth on the colors too, but I like the darker look with mine (Sienna Pearl).

That was actually a kinda old pic. Currenly my hinges and bezels are black here's the pics. So that's why I was thinking maybe black would look better. But I like the clear match to the flares too.

Given the black accents already, I would look at the smoked ones. You could get the NiteShade paint to at least give an idea of what it would look like, and could order the clear from Quadratec (or any other company with a return policy) to give the clear a shot first.

About $10 +/-, depending on where you get it. Most auto parts stores carry it (or can get it). Amazon as well.

VHT NiteShades
