Martinez Canyon

Had a fun run with a few buddies there today. The recent rains have made the normal lines slightly harder, and the hard (which are normally easy lines if you ask me, hahaha) lines MUCH more technical. Which is good - it was getting too easy anyways. Very nice views as always - I always gaze my eyes out every time I'm out there. It's a sight to see. But enough jibber jabber, pix are available: http://www.4x4tj.com/gallery/album87

And a few teasers of course :

And you know you're not having fun until you get stuck

Did you all happen to notice some apparent rock stacking out there? I have heard that since it is now harder there have been some ramps built by some idiots that now have no business being out there.

Also I am assuming that after you were unstuck you dispersed what you had stacked to help?

Not trying to be a dick, but just trying to keep our trails at the challenge level they should be at.

Yes the stacked rocks were removed - actually most of them were kicked out of place by the tires so there was really only like one or two left to be put back. The wash before the mill was pretty unscathed as far as stacking goes - didn't really see any tire marks either, I think most people take the bypass on that one now, but I did see a good bit in the usual places what people had problems going up and over a ledge that's a few feet
