maybe its me but?

hey gang , just want to share, people are complaing the have no work things are slow la da da , no money etc. i recently sent my tj to AAMCO for a rear seal leak on my trans, i told the mgr. while the jeep is on the lift change the diff fluids. ok was the response. when i picked her up i asked if he did the diffs, his answer was there fine. that wasent the answer i was looking for. so when i got home i checked nothing was done. last weeked i removed the covers and drained the diffs . the fluid was grey. the whole idea of this vent is to say wtf. im willing to pay for a service and cant trust anyone to follow through. i work 6 days a week otherwise i would do it myself.

First - don't ever go back there again, and make sure you tell them why. Finding a good mechanic is like finding a good doctor. Shop around and when you get one, keep them. I'm fortunate to have a good friend who is a mechanic and his rates are very good.

Second - Welcome to WF! Feel free to rant here anytime and be sure to join in the fun in the Off Topic area.

or better yet learn to do everything yourself the one day a week you do not work. I love working on my Jeep. It is a relaxing therapeutic event for me, but I am from Detroit.

That guy sounds like someone that has had everything handed to him on a silver platter and doesnt appreciate anything. I wouldnt give him the time of day if it were me. That is the reason I do all the work on my jeep myself.
