Measurement Help Please!

Hey guys! My buddy made a custom tool box awhile back for one of his old jeeps. He said I could have it, unfortunately I am a couple hours away from my Jeep.... I was wondering if any of you TJ owners could please help me out and go measure your "trunk" and see if this tool box would fit inside?

Top Depth: 9.5
Bottom Depth: 11.5
Height: 15
Length: 30

Thank you for all your help!

Space that is available is 12" front to back, 34" side to side, with the Rear seat installed.

SO YES, it will fit fine, with a little space left over.

If you have the tiedown loops mounted to the rear deck, behind the rear seat,
you may want to place a 3/4" piece of Plywood down for a spacer for the Box
to sit flush / level, is the only issue you may have to deal with.

Looks perfect! Mine measures 36" wide, bottom depth 12". My guess is the shorter length is to avoid those little tie down thingies. The height will come up flush to the rear door. The top depth seems to perfectly compensate for the rear seat. Cool tool box! Pics once you get it!

I think the TAPER to the Box would be more to compensate for the ANGLE
of the REAR SEAT BACK when it's in the up-right position.

My BAD ~~~ I guess that's exactly what you said ! Man it's tuff gettin OLD.

No he's not like that....sorry for your heat loss ;D

According to his sister he is working on something for me. She says it's a box, but it has 3 holes in it 2 big on top, 1 small on side.

Sounds like my friend might be building me another subwoofer box lol. He built my last one and botched up the dimensions and my rear seat wouldnt lock...
so it looks like he's trying to make one that will fit properly lol.
Bahamas my ass, she told me he was in their garage all morning.....

ehh, I think I'll mind my own business and let him surprise me
